Description
Desmognathus brimleyorum - Ouachita dusky salamander from Polk County, Arkansas.
These guys were pretty fun to find, and turned out to be rather common. I found close to twenty over the course of two days, mostly juveniles. I did lose two big adults in the current though. They're mostly found by flipping rocks right along the edge of creeks, especially rocks only half way in the water.
